Last chapter, the spotlight was on the giants, Diane and Matrona as they catch up with each other. Turns out, Matrona's grudge against Diane is long gone and has now turned to gratitude. Turns out, the husband of Matrona are one of the raiders Diane spared, which later on paid off big as the same man was the one who treated Matrona's critical wounds.

Also, Diane is still suffering from amnesia and although she remembers some of the events before she inflicted the condition, she still has no idea that she is part of the Seven Deadly Sins. In fact, she doesn't even recognize her own Sacred Weapon. But, her dancing lessons with Matrona might be a foreshadowing of her increase in strength as this training will give her a grasp on how to control nature.

Also, a tournament will unfold on the town of Vaizel and the winner will get any prize he wants. Meliodas and company will take part on the competition but little do they know that this is a trap set up by an unknown Ten Commandment member.

Now, some fans at Manga Helpers believe that Escanor and Meliodas will finally reunite in this tournament. This will be the town Escanor needs to deliver the goods which means there is a good chance that Meliodas and Escanor will have a sparring session, much like the last time with Ban.
