"Star Wars Battlefront" has more to give their players this Holiday season.

The release of the game reboot has been a success so far as it many players who had anticipated the game seem to be quite satisfied with it. Though there may be glitches here and there, it doesnt look like gamers will stop playing "Star Wars Battlefront" anytime soon.

The game may be a recent release but EA is going all out with giving freebies. "The Battle Of Jakku" DLC is just the beginning of the free stuff to come for the players of the game. Patrick Söderlund, EA Studios Executive Vice President, confirmed the news on a blog post that DICE will be adding new maps and free star cards in "Star Wars Battlefront" in the months ahead.

For players who are not familiar with the "Battle Of Jakku" DLC, it is free downloadable content that takes place "29 years before the events of 'Star Wars'" and will add two new maps and a new mode that will be available on Dec. 8, 2015, as reported by Games Radar. However, if you were one of those who pre-ordered the game, you can get the DLC as early as Dec.1, 2015.

Söderlund also noted that, while the "Star Wars Battlefront" Season Pass has to be purchased, there are a lot of goodies just as awesome as the "free Star cards" perk players will be getting. 

The Season Pass will be including four more Heroes and villains, four extra game modes, a special emote, 16 new maps and 20 pieces of tech like news vehicles and Star Cards.

"Star Wars Battlefront" is a first and third person shooter video game that is the third release in the "Battlefront" series. It is a reboot of the original game and players are given the choice to side with either the Empire or the Rebel Alliance. The battles take place on different terrain on different planets in the galaxy far,far away.

Players are also given the opportunity to play their favorite heroes or villains from the film franchise. Each of these special characters have specific skills and abilities unqiue to each individual. Ships and vehicles can also be used to give greater damage and gain more kills during the game.
