Jessica Jung has fans speculating that she may release a solo album in 2016 with her recent post on social media.

On Tuesday, Jan. 19, Jessica uploaded a short clip of herself in the recording booth on her Instagram. 

Although no singing was heard in the clip, Jessica assured fans and followers that she was happy to be back in the studio as she gives off a smile and waves at the camera.

"Sweet dreams," Jessica said in her caption.

However, this isn't the first time Jessica was seen in a recording studio. Ever since the beginning of last year, rumors relating to her impending solo career circulated as she uploaded a photo of her sitting in a studio in New York.

While the singer and fashion designer is no longer part of SM Entertainment's powerhouse girl group Girls' Generation, Jessica revealed during an interview with magazine High Cut that she never left the entertainment industry.
