Synopsis/Recap:

This week's episode begins with Basara, Mio, and Leohart discuss a strategy for dealing with Chaos. Leohart points out that opening the barrier will likely not help them in this fight. Elsewhere, Yuki and Maria's sister are struggling to protect Kurumi and Maria, who are both still injured from the tournament.

Basara and Leohart begin a counterattack against Chaos but it's pretty useless. Back at the castle, Maria and Kurumi wake up and begin attacking the demon lord. Maria is fierce.

Mio helps Basara power up, and he is able to take a new form. Once in that form, Basara attacks Chaos and is able to destroy him. Mio passes out from using too much power. Elsewhere, all of the heroic spirits summoned by Chaos are killed.

The council that started the attack are prepared to destroy the entire realm, but then Leohart's sister shows up and kills them all. Just as she's about to attack Jin, who was hiding in the closet, Basara bursts into the room. Meanwhile, Takigawa is hiding outside the door. Leohart's sister leaves, deciding to hold off on picking a fight until later.

Finally, Basara's plans make sense - it was all done in an attempt to create peace in the demon realm so that they'd stop pursuing Mio's power. The group heads out back to earth.

Basara has a nightmare. Mio comforts him, but their alone time is completely destroyed when Maria enters the room with her camera
