Synopsis/Recap:

This week's episode begins with Yui arriving to the Mukami brother's house and seeing a very sick and hurt Ruki. It is revealed through flashback that when the wolves attacked them, Ruki blocked one from hurting Azusa.

The brothers discuss the "Apple of Adam" plan with Yui and how they drank her blood in order to reach the status of being an Adam. Each brother points out how Ruki had saved them all from suffering in their childhood, and so he felt pressure to make sure their plan to become like Adam worked.

Later, Yui visits Ruki and tries to get him to talk to her about the plan. He refuses. He claims that none of them can become Adam, so it is useless to say anything about it. He then explains that he realized that no matter how much of her blood they drank, they could not be awakened.

Only purebloods can become like Adam. Yui remembers the words of one of the Sakamaki brothers, realizing that Ruki is right.

Ruki is even more upset because he thinks he cannot tell the other Mukami brothers. Yui responds by saying that the brothers already have figured it out, and they just wanted to support him. Ruki is cheered up by Yui's words.

Ruki decides not to give up, holds Yui close, and tells her to belong to him. He then appears to drink from her.

Elsewhere, the group of wolves called the Founders discuss their plans to attack the vampires and retrieve Yui's blood.
