Red Velvet's 'Winter Garden' Single To Be Titled 'Wish Tree'

EXO may have stolen many hearts with their winter song entitled "Sing For You," but it appears that SM Entertainment is not done with getting K-pop fans into the Christmas spirit.

Earlier this month, SM Entertainment announced a special "Winter Garden" project alongside a cryptic teaser image. Several teaser images later, it has been confirmed that the second single from the project will be performed by Red Velvet. The group will release their new song entitled "Wish Tree," on Dec. 18.

So far, fans are expressing much excitement for Red Velvet's first holiday song since their debut.

"Yay! This is Red Velvet's first winter holiday song and I can't wait for how that song will turn out. After listening to f(x)'s new winter song, I have expectations that it will be just as good," said Ladydahlia629 on 6Theory.

The f(x) song in question is "Wish List," and was the first song to be released from SM Entertainment's "Winter Garden" project. "Wish List" was released on Dec. 15, which follows a release pattern that was teased earlier in a photo of three flowers with the numbers 15, 18, and 22 written on them. Following Red Velvet's Dec. 18 release of "Wish Tree," BoA will reportedly release a "Winter Garden" song on Dec. 22.

Red Velvet's song "Wish Tree" is described as "a pop ballad track with a warm feel and acoustic sound." Allkpop reports that the song lyrics are about wishing on a "Wish Tree" to always stay with the person you love.
