Synopsis/Recap:

This week's episode begins with a brief explanation from Haruhiko and Ruru that the episode will be about memory. Then, the episode begins with Haruhiko and Reina meeting up with Mai at the train station. According to Mai, the group hasn't been doing so well with their phantom missions.

They head to a specific bridge in order to stop a phantom that has been preventing people from crossing. The two beautiful phantoms claim that they harassed pedestrians to get Mai to meet them. Mai tries to take them on by herself at first and fails, so Haruhiko summons a phantom to help the fight.

Mai is badly hurt so the group escapes off the bridge to get away from the two incredible phantoms. Back at school, Mai vows to train enough for the group to conquer them in the future. Mai trains Haruhiko and Reina in combat and gets their stamina up by running on the stairs.

Haruhiko suggests they copy Mai's memories to his so he can acquire the skills she already has instead of training. Mai doesn't believe it can work but then a teacher who overhears their conversation decides to help them.

The teacher suggests Mai and Haruhiko go to places Mai visited as a child. It's not missed on their parts that it seems like a date. Meanwhile, Reina seems uncomfortable watching the pair. Suddenly Mai and Haruhiko arrive at the bridge despite them not copying her memories yet.

But then, in the middle of the fight, they hit their heads together and the memories transfer. Haruhiko reveals that Mai met the beautiful phantoms on her childhood school trip. It appears that Mai had bullied the phantoms and changed her memory to think she was friendly and shy as a child.

Now that Haruhiko has Mai's memories, he tries to take over the fight against the phantoms. It is only when they combine their powers that Mai and Haruhiko are able to defeat the phantoms.

In the aftermath of the fight, Reina wonders if she will ever be as close to Mai
