Synopsis/Recap:

This week's episode begins with a brief look at the continued torture of Tanaka, one of the other Japanese Ajin in existence. The hunt for Kei continues while he and Kai continue to try to escape on Kai's bike. Kai takes them to the mountains, believing it to be a good place to hide.

Unfortunately, since it is broad daylight, anyone can see Kei's face and chase them. Another motorcycle rider spots them and chases after them. Back at Kei's house, Tosaki interviews his mother. Tosaki asks for an update and suggests that Kai is probably sheltering Kei for the reward later. Tosaki freaks out when he realizes that the man who tortured the other ajin is now also hunting for Kei.

The other motorcyclist knocks them off a cliff and they crash land on the pavement below. Kei is conscious but Kai is unconscious. Kei gets angry at the rider, but then Kai gets up and knocks the motorcyclist down. Kai was only pretending to be hurt.

Kei tries to get up and realizes that his legs are broken. To fix his body, Kei stabs himself with a knife and wakes up back in normal state. Elsewhere, Satou, the torturer, enlists the help of Ajin Tanaka to find Kei. Kei and Kai rest in a house in the mountains.

Kai decides they should go to Kyushu. He leaves Kei alone to buy supplies. While alone in the house, Kei thinks he should leave Kai behind at this point. Eri is questioned again by Izumi. Eri tells Izumi about the time Kei saw something no one else could see - the smoky black figure that is what an ajin looks like

Suddenly, Izumi is split in half by three claws. The smoky figure then kills the rest of the officers in the room. This ajin belongs to Tanaka, who laughs and watches through the window.
