Synopsis/Recap:

Goku and Vegeta are off to train, trying to decide what criteria they should use for choosing their teammates. They run into Krillin, who reveals that Goku lied to Chi-chi about the tournament, calling it a picnic. Goku explains the situation to Krillin about the super dragon balls and the universe contests made by Champa and Beerus.

Vegeta suggests they ask Gohan to be on the team, but Goku mentions Gohan doesn't fight anymore. So Goku suggest Buu and Piccolo. When they visit Buu, Goku offers one of the wishes to get Buu to agree. Buu tells Satan that he will give the wish to him when they win.

Elsewhere, Whis questions Beerus attitude toward Goku. They recall all of the events of the past episodes. Whis deduces that Beerus and Goku are actually alike. On their way to talk to Piccolo, Goten and Trunks ask to join the fight but Vegeta says fusion is against the rules so they have to become strong on their own if they want to fight.

Piccolo is training Gohan when they catch up with him. Gohan initially says he wants to compete but then backs out when he hears that the competition is in four days. Piccolo agrees to fight. Goku asks Piccolo and Vegeta to join him in training. Piccolo declines - his body will deteroriate if he has to keep up with Saiyans. Vegeta agrees when he realizes that Goku could surpass him if he doesn't train.

Elsewhere, Whis and Beerus prepare to meet Monaka.
