Boyfriend member Youngmin proved himself a true gentleman when he shielded a fan from getting hit by a backing up car.

A fan video that has been circulating shows Youngmin surrounded by female fans when he spots a car that was backing up and about to hit one of the fans.

The idol quickly reached out his hand to inform the unsuspecting female fan that she was about to get bumped.

The original video uploader, who was a friend of the female fan that was put out of harm's way, described the incident in Chinese: "He thought the car might hit my friend, so he wanted to remind her," reports Soompi.

Online commenters complimented him for having quick reflexes and being protective to his fans.

"How toughtful of him," "How wonderful, I'm glad he cared," and "What a sweet guy," were among the swarm of sweet remarks Youngmin received from online commenters.

Boyfriend are coming off from a spectacular 2015 which was highlighted by their first world tour "Bewitch" which spanned Asia, South America and Europe; and winning the Popularity Singer award at the 2015 Asia Model Festival Awards.
