Former S.E.S member Bada (Choi Sung Hee) is planning a new release this spring.

According to industry insiders, the veteran singer and musical actress is preparing a new album, expected to hit shelves in April.

This will be her fifth solo album, and the first to be released in more than six years, since See the Sea in 2009.

Bada was with S.E.S from 1997 to 2002 when the group split. She then made her solo debut in October 2003 with the album A Day of Renew. Since 2007, she has been a regular figure on stage, having performed in a dozen or so musical productions.

Most recently, Bada appeared on the Chinese version of I Am a Singer, making it to the finals and finishing in second place.
