British Singer-Songwriter MIKA Says Hello To Fans On V App Ahead Of Weekend Concerts In Korea

British singer-songwriter MIKA (Michael Holbrook Penniman, Jr.) met with fans ahead of his weekend concerts.

On Wednesday, Feb. 10, MIKA appeared on Naver's V celebrity live streaming app and to promote his three performances in South Korea this week.

MIKA kicked things off on Thursday, Feb. 11 at Bexco Auditorium in Busan and performed the following night at Jamsil Arena in Seoul. The final concert will be in Daegu at Exco on Sunday, Feb. 14. 

During the V App live stream, fans asked the singer what he plans to do Saturday, to which he said he would take a trip to favorite place in the country, Bukchon Hanok Village.

MIKA, who was in South Korea over the Lunar New Year holiday this week, remarked how impressed he was by the generosity and kindness that surrounded him there. 

"It was very interesting to see Korean young people wearing hanbok [tradition Korean dress] and taking pictures,” he said"I met some fans at cafes and they bought me coffee, cake and macarons. I never experienced this before. There are no fans like this in the whole world."

MIKA released his fourth album No Place in Heaven on June 15, 2015.
