In a recent episode of JTBC's Two Yoo Project: Sugar Man, a talk show that brings back some of K-pop's earliest idols from the '80s to early 2000s, early JYP act Ryang Hyun Ryang Ha reminisced about the agency's beginnings.

For last Tuesday's episode, the former JYP Entertainment artists shared some stories and secrets from the past when they were known as the idol twins who were skilled at dancing. Brothers Kim Ryang Hyun and Kim Ryang Ha compared the growth of JYP Entertainment then and now.

After being discovered in the streets of Busan by CEO Park Jin Young himself, the brothers were taken under his wing and trained to be stars. in the beginning, however, the entertainment agency did not even have a building if its own, but instead rented a dance studio for the budding artists to practice in.

"When we wrapped up our career and visited the company, there was a huge JYP building in Cheongdam-dong, which wowed us," the twins said. "We also saw Rain, Byul, Noel and Lim Jeong-hee practicing to prepare for their debut. We are practically their seniors."
