Priyanka Chopra, who rose to international fame after starring in American TV series "Quantico", is one of the few actors from the Indian film industry who managed to "break out into the West". The 33-year-old Indian star won this year's People's Choice Award for Favorite Actress in a New TV Series.

"So far, except Priyanka not many people have managed to break out into the West in a big way. Because I feel they don't have great roles for Indian actors. But, Priyanka has done in that way. She has broken all the barriers. I think she is doing fantastic," Mumbai Actress Sonakshi Sinha said at the Zee Cine Awards 2016.

Sinha is an Indian rapper and actress. She is daughter of actors Shatrughan and Poonam. Sonakshi recently released her debut single Ishqholic. She will soon be seen in Akira and Force 2.

"I am obsessed with Priyanka Chopra. She is one of the most beautiful women in the world," Hollywood makeup artist Donald Simrock said at the Bollywood Hollywood International (BHI) Make up and Hair Academy.

"She has done an amazing job. It's exciting to see people like her cross over to American market and have success. I haven't had any personal experience to work in Bollywood. I am interested to work there. Bollywood has so many amazing people. But working with Bollywood stars is not my active priority right now.".

Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, will co-star with Chopra in her Hollywood debut Baywatch. Priyanka will play antagonist Victoria Deeds.

"It is so much fun to play a negative character because you have the liberty to go out of your comfort zone and do anything. Victoria is a very mean character," Priyanka told PTI.

Priyanka plays FBI recruit Alex Parrish. The actress was last seen in Bollywood film 'Bajirao Mastani'.
