Episode 16 gave us more suspense, drama, and action. The previous episode entertained the viewers  with the development of the story such as the reappearance of Hong-Kyung Rae, rebel's leader and Ra-on's father who was believed to be dead long time ago. His showing again shocked the King. Also people in the palace were stunned upon knowing that Ra-on is a man, not like they have believed for a long time.

That episode left with Hong-Kyung Rae was attempted by a soldier to be mutilated but that was halted when rebels showed-off. A confrontation stands between the soldiers and the rebels. Byung-yeon and Yeong watched in surprise but suddenly Byung-yeon held his sword to Yeong's neck. In great confusion, Yeong wonders what does it for.

This time the episode will start with the minister ordering the soldiers to capture all rebels but Prince Yeong was held hostage by Byung-yeon. The King prioritized Yeong's safety letting all the rebels to flee including Hong-Kyung Rae. As it happens emotions are painted on the Prince face as he sees Ra-on is going away again.

But much emotion will happen when all rebels have gone away in the scene except Byung-yeon. Byung-yeon puts down his sword now as he ensure Hong-Kyung Rae was already safe and he really regretted that he held Yeong as hostage. Yeong tells him not to put down his sword as it would endanger his life but Byung-yeon does otherwise. Immediately soldiers attack him wounding him mortally. Yeong hold Byung-yeon in his arm with much grief. Byung-yeon finally closed his eyes. Will Byung-yeon die?

Before episode 17 will close, a shocking incident will endanger the life of Prince Yeong. He will fall unconscious after drinking a tonic which is believed to be poisoned. Will Prince Yeong survive? Let us wait and see for it in the next episode, according to iTech Post. 

As Hong-Kyung Rae, Raon, and the rebels who were disguised as soldiers would pass the gate in their way out for escape, guards suspect strange suspends their exit but one person would do something for their escape in exchange of his life. Who would be that person?
