Soompi reported that October 20 is the big day for Twice. It marked their one year  since Twice made their debut. Twice was made from JYP's reality program, Sixteen, They were supposed to be just a seven-member girl group but then JYP decided to make nine members because of the other members' popularity.

Twice officially debuted on October 20 of 2015 with their first mini album entitled "The Story Begins," and the title track "Like Ooh Ahh". April this year, they became a sensation with their second mini album "Page Two" and title track "Cheer Up". "ShaShaSha" became the second "Omona" and Japanese member Sana became super popular because of it. They won an amazing eleven music show wins for "Cheer Up" and just until last month, it was still on top of Melon music chart.

Twice's fans celebrated their anniversary with many gifts and cakes for the members. Different fan site from different countries gave gifts and cakes to the members. The hashtag #TWICE1stAnniversary also trended on different places all around the world. Many fans who cannot contribute to the fan events just tweeted heartfelt messages for the girls.

They also did a live V-App chat last night showing the fans how they celebrate their first anniversary. The members also had a nice dinner with each other. Yesterday was definitely a break from Twice's hectic schedule. They are now preparing for another comeback and fans are super excited for it. They will also have their third app0earance on "Weekly Idol" to promote their newest track "TT".
