Twice breaks BTS’ record for reaching 30 million views plus wins On ‘The Show’ for the first time
Twice has broken another record! JYP Entertainment's super rookie girl group has broken BTS' record of achieving 30 million views on Youtube for a music video within the fastest time. Twice has gained 30 million views for "TT" music video is just nine days.
Previously, it was BTS who was holding the record with "Blood, Sweat and Tears" gaining 30 million views in just 11 days. Now, Twice has broken that record. Twice's fans, Onces, are super proud of this achievement. They have work together hard. KpopStarz has reported before that Twice has broken lots of record already and this will be added to that.
Furthermore, they have won on MTV "The Show" the music program yesterday, Soompi reported. It was their first time winning on that music show. It is also the first win for "TT." They were up against IOI and Dalshabet. They won with 8680 points; they were 997 points ahead of IOI.
Since IOI was there, Somi was also there. She was one of the hosts of "The Show." She bowed with the Twice members during their encore stage. Fans knew Somi way before IOI and Produce 101 as she was with Twice on MNET's program "Sixteen." She is close with the Twice members especially Chaeyoung. Fans were happy that she got to join Twice on stage again.
It was really a special day for Twice yesterday because it was the birthday of one of their members. It was Jeongyeon's birthday yesterday and they celebrated it. Also, they were the guest for Arirang's "Afterschool Club" variety show. They also celebrated Jeongyeon's birthday there.
