Niel is starring in the web drama “Descendants of the Airport” currently aired on Naver. He played the role of security guard in the Airport who played a role to prevent terrorist attack.

Main singer in the idol group Teen Top whose name is Ahn Daniel is cast as the member of the airport police agent Seo Dae-Won in the “Descendant of the Airport” web drama as reported by International News. This role is Niel’s second acting project after a small role in the movie “My 11th Mother” with Kim Hye-Soo and Ryoo Seung-Ryong.

The web drama is broadcasted through Naver TV Cast since Monday, Nov. 7. The drama was endorsed by the Korean National Airport Corporation to promote the company as airport management company that provide the best safety and comfort to its customers.

According to Naver, Niel’s character meet a beautiful long-haired woman during his routine patrol in his guarded area. From that encounter, the plot of the drama develops.

Niel started his career in the entertainment industry as child actor since he was 13 years old. After his role in the 2007 movie “My 11th Mother” he switched to music. He is inspired by Michael Jackson.

The 22-year old singer is the main singer for the six-member idol group Teen Top along with C.A.P, Chunji, L.Joe, Ricky and Changjo. Teen Top debuted in July 2010 with the song “Clap” which gained many fans ever since. The group is known for their artistic dance choreography and managed under TOP Media Entertainment.

Earlier this year, Niel was entangled in the controversy related to his overseas vacancy trip. Some jealous fans incited that he went on the trip with his girlfriend who was a non-celebrity. Niel had to clarify the rumor and he ended up closing down his social media account afterward.
