EXO-CBX just recently bagged their first win as a subunit group on "The Show."

According to Allkpop, Xiumin, Baekhyun and Chen had made an appearance on the November 15 airing of The Show and gave an amazing performance of their song "Hey Mama" which had the audience on their feet.  For their efforts, they were rewarded with a trophy. But the EXO subunit's win did not go home without strict competition of course. VIXX and T-ara were also in the running for first place. In the end though, EXO-CBX went home victorious with 7936 points while T-ara came in second place with 7050 points. VIXX got 6774 points which left them in third place.

Unfortunately though, the three were unable to receive their award personally as they had to leave the show early due to other engagements. Still, the award itself comes at an opportune time because many of EXO-CBX's fans have been complaining as to why the group hasn't won an award on a music show yet while girl groups like BLACKPINK and TWICE have been consistently winning.

Well, the competition does seem tough but still, even without winning several music show awards, EXO-CBX still managed to top several charts.

In a recent fan meeting, Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin explained that the purpose of their group isn't to win music show awards or rank in music programs. They assured the fans do not have anything to worry because they have already won numerous awards with their mother group EXO.

The three-member group expressed how grateful they are for the opportunity that was given to them as a subunit of EXO and the chance to perform and further showcase their talents to the fans, as reported by iTech Post. According to them, they were content just being nominated.

"The Show" also featured performances from EXO's Lay who performed his solo single "Lose Control," B.A.P, ASTRO, MAMAMOO, IMFACT, MOMOLAND, BLOCK B's Bastarz, Snuper and more.
