Big Hit Entertainment Promises to Take Legal Action Against BTS Haters and Perpetrators of Malicious Rumors

Living life as an idol can surely get tough. Being on the spotlight means you're always under public adoration and scrutiny. Sure there maybe perks like getting tons of love and support from adoring fans. However, if there are fans, then there will always be haters as well. It is easy to say that an idol thrives in two worlds: the people who love them and those who wish to bring them down. One such example is BTS. The boys of BTS have recently skyrocketed to overwhelming success and their fans couldn't be more proud of them. Unfortunately, though, the boys have also become subject to malicious rumors and defamatory remarks.

But just because idols are always under the public's eyes doesn't mean they deserve all the scrutiny they get. With BTS, the hate remarks have become so severe that their talent agency Big Hit Entertainment has warned the boys' haters to back off or else they'll be taking matters into legal hands, SBS Popasia reports.

According to Koreaboo, the talent agency released an official statement on November 10 demanding that haters stop malicious rumors and lies that seek to defame BTS. They also asked BTS supporters to collect as much proof as they can to help them build a strong case. Big Hit Entertainment said that since their debut, BTS had strived to accept all the criticisms being thrown at them but recent haters' actions have become so severe that they simply cannot be overlooked.

For instance, haters planned a Twitbomb last May 2016 with the aim to 'out BTS for plagiarism' that included the hashtags #OutBTS and #CopyBoys. They also even claimed that Jimin collapsed on purpose in order to garner more publicity and that some of the members are dating their fans. The hate and defamatory remarks won't seem to stop for the boy group amid their success. But it looks like their home agency won't stand for the abuse their artists are getting.

Go Big Hit Entertainment!

In other news, BTS had successfully conducted their global fan meeting which was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. A record breaking 38,000 fans attended the event and the boys even performed some of their songs.
