SBS drama “Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim” started its third week with a stronger position in viewership ratings. Episode 5 recorded the highest rating, as Hyun-Chul from the Geodae Hospital meet the legendary doctor Boo Yong-Joo when spying on the Doeldam hospital.

“Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim” Episode 5 scores a higher rating with 16.5% in AGB Nielsen Korea, according to report from Seoul Daily News. Ratings in Seoul Metropolitan Area are even higher with 17.9%. Meanwhile in TnMS the drama ratings also reached its highest rating with 15.2%.

The drama continue its intense story without a break. Viewers were brought to a roller coaster ride with sufficient comedy to release the tension. “Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim” Episode 5 focuses on the surgery plan for the owner of the casino which Teacher Kim frequently visit CEO Shin.

Management of Geodae Hospital are not happy with the decion of CEO Shin to have his heart surgery in the small hospital such as Doldam Hospital. However, CEO Shin has firmly decided that he will only allow Teacher Kim to do his heart surgey to replace his pacemaker battery.

Meanwhile, SBS releases the official announcement regarding Episode 6 aired on Nov. 22. The announcement including some still images from the respective episode.

One of the images depicts the head department of general surgery in Geodae Hospital Song Hyun-Chul speaks to Teacher Kim. Hyun-Chul was former superior of Kang Dong-Joo, a talented doctor who made mistake when operating a VIP which made the patient to die. For his mistake, Dong-Joo was transferred to small hospital Doldam Hospital where he met his idol doctor Yong-Joo who is now known as Teacher Kim.

For the actor Jang Hyuk-Jin, who is cast as Hyun-Chul, this is his first time to work with Han Suk-Kyu (Teacher Kim) is a blessing. Moreover “Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim” is the first drama for Han after two years. Jang, who is seven years young than Han, said he learns many things from his senior to prepare a his acting.
