Just like any other affairs, Soo Yeon and Hyun Woo's case also had an issue on who among them will get the child. In the latest episode of "My Wife's Having An Affair", the couple had a tug-of-war over their child which was seen by their neighbors. This incident eventually caused some neighbors to speculate over the divorce of the two.

As stated by Dramabeans, episode 8 still shows the complicated situation between Hyun Woo and Soo Yeon after the latter has engaged in an affair. Hyun Woo together with his friend from work PD Joon Young and his lawyer best friend Yoon Ki get drunk as they talk about their wife problems. Then, they decided to go wild for the night by going to the nearest noraebang (karaoke bar) and decided to sing their heart out. Afterwards, Hyun Woo invited the guys to go wilder.

Joon Young and Yoon Ki agreed to do so but, they got disappointed as Hyun Woo apparently is referring to playing an arcade game. After their supposedly wild night, the guys returned over to Hyun Woo's place where everything will get complicated as Hyun Woo drunk texts his college girl friend who apparently just got divorced.

The episode highlighted the following scenarios on the lives of the six characters:

1. Yoon Ki and Ara

After Yoon Ki arrived from having an affair in the stormy Osaka, he returned to their house seeing his wife waiting for him. As usual, he got surprised but diverted to changing the topic that he misses his wife so much. Ara, his wife, just stayed poker faced while listening to his story. Then Yoon Ki saw that Ara is holding a suitcase. As if she has read what Yoon Ki is thinking, Ara blurted out that she'll stay over her parents first. Yoon Ki is happy about the news since he can do his crazy things in their house but disguises his feelings into missing his wife.

2. Joon Young and Bo Young

Joon Young has been selling some of his unused appliances from his wife-less house online. Luckily he got an interested buyer who's a little bit annoying because she kept on asking for discount since she is still a student. The two agreed on a price and set a meet up near the subway station. Apparently the student buyer was just Joon Young's co-worker, Bo Young. The two argued about the recent transaction but managed to get the appliance bought. Bo Young then asked if Joon Young still have appliances he wanted to sell so they went over to Joon Young's apartment. While looking for interesting appliances, Bo Young saw Joon Young's PS4 and asked if he can sell it to her. Of course, Joon Young declined but got interested over the fact that Bo Young also plays it. They ended up playing a game.

3. Bo Young and Soo Yeon

Bo Young discovered that her boss' wife, Soo Yeon, was staying over the same building where she stays so she approached Soo Yeon. They eventually engaged to some heart-to-heart talk about Soo Yeon and Hyun Woo. Bo Young also shared some of her divorce stories so that Soo Yeon won't be uncomfortable to open up.

4. Hyun Woo and his college girlfriend

After drunk texting his college girl friend, they agreed to meet. The two had some throwback memories from their college days and then they eventually got into the topic of their past relationship. Joon Hee, his ex-girlfriend, opened up that she hasn't dated guys right after the two of them broke up because she kept on seeing Hyun Woo in them. At first, Hyun Woo thought that it was a good thing, but Joon Hee further explained that it wasn't, because she hated guys who are so undecisive and who hurts others just to maintain their "good guy" image.

Apparently, when they were still together, Joon Hee is already aware that Hyun Woo has eyes for Soo Yeon. Their conversation ended with Joon Hee telling Hyun Woo to have that meeting as their last one, as it still hurts her the same way in college.

5. Hyun Woo and Soo Yeon

Soo Yeon became too busy on her work and she forgot that she is with her son. Apparently, her son got out of her sight and went missing. She then informed Hyun Woo and he was so outraged about this and even blamed her repeatedly. They went looking for their child and even asked Joon Young and Bo Young's help. They eventually found Ji Soo, the son, who was hit by a vehicle and was rushed over to the hospital. Hyun Woo was so furious and ordered Soo Yeon not to get near him nor their son first. The Ji Soo got conscious and asked Hyun Woo what is "divorce" as he heard it from his classmate who kept on teasing him that his parents will have it soon. Soo Yeon heard this and broke into tears.

The episode ended with Soo Yeon reading her husband's post as Toycrane about their story that went viral. She can't contain her tears as she scrolled over to her husband's words.

Viewers might find the episode too serious but it was also balanced with comedic antics from the cast. As a proof, here are some of the selected quotable quotes from "My Wife's Having an Affair this Week" episode 8.
