BLACKPINK's MV for "Playing With Fire" reaches over 30 million hits on YouTube; group set to appear on 'Running Man'!

BLACKPINK's fans have another reason to celebrate this week as the YG super rookies have once again reached another milestone in their careers. Just recently, the music video for their song "Playing with Fire" had finally surpassed 30 million views on YouTube.

Allkpop reports that the MV has only been released for about 4 weeks but has already reached more than 30 million views in that short time. This is such an impressive feat for a group that has just recently debuted this year. Two weeks ago, the MV reached 20 million views and as of this article's publishing, that number stands at 32 million. You can only expect BLACKPINK's videos to increase in views as the girl group is set on conquering the k-pop scene.

It has only been a few months since BLACKPINK's debut but the girl group had already proven itself as a force to reckon with as they dominated multitudes of charts both local and international. In fact, BLACKPINK did not only gain incredible attention from their home country but in the global scene as well, charting on the Billboard charts and being cited by numerous global publications. The group had recently won big at the Melon Music Awards after bagging the "Best New Artist" award, one of the biggest prizes of the night.

Their debut singles "Boombayah" and "Whistle" already has 70 million and 57 million views respectively and it hasn't been a year yet! Often called the next 2NE1, BLACKPINK has definitely stayed true to YG's colors and essence.

Unfortunately, they would not be making an appearance at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards, the same with YG Entertainment artists. However, the 4-member girl group is set to appear on the variety show "Running Man."

But BLACKPINK aren't the only artists to achieve recent YouTube milestones because SBS Popasia reports that EXO's music video for their song "Overdose" had crossed the 120 million mark after it was released back in 2014.

Truly, there is no stopping the Korean wave as it takes over the entire world.
