Life After 2NE1: Park Bom Turns To Ouija Board, Eyes 2017 Solo Album

The 2NE1 disbandment is set in stone, for now. Former members of the popular girl group are already opening new doors of opportunity and Park Bom is apparently doing the same.

Despite being the reason behind the 2NE1 disbandment, Park Bom will pursue a solo career as well. Similar to the path chosen by former 2NE1 member Minzy, Park Bom plans to make her solo debut in 2017 as reported by PopCrush.

After the recent release of the 2NE1 farewell song "Goodbye," the members of the girl group are now preparing for their life after 2NE1. Apparently, Park Bom has expressed her interest in building a solo career via a Twitter exchange with her fans.

It all started when Park Bom consulted Universal's Ouija board which was actually a promotion for their recently released movie "Ouija: Origin Of Evil." The former 2NE1 member asked the Ouija Board an interesting question that perked the ears of fans. "Is my solo album coming out this year?' the singer asked. The board answered "With Me" which is, by the way, a very vague and nearly impossible answer. However, it doesn't stop there. AllKPop reports that Park Bom was quick with her hands to delete the Tweet, however, her fans have quick eyes and sharp memories.

After Park Bom deleted her tweet, a fan bravely asked the singer what it all means. Some fans were even straightforward enough to ask if a solo album is really coming out anytime soon. The fan's bravery was all worth it as Park Bom confirmed everything with her brief reply, "Yes, I do."

Thanks to Universal's Ouija promotion on Twitter, 2NE1 fans, and Park Bom fans have been graced with the confirmation that Park Bom also has a solo career ahead of her. It looks like Minzy isn't the only one planning to reign supreme in 2017, as previous reports claim that Minzy is also gearing up for a big solo debut this year.
