iKON To Start Filming For Music Videos In March, Gears For Major Comeback in April

Good news for fans of iKON as the group has announced that they making their comeback in a big way this April. As a matter of fact, the K-pop idols are gearing for the release of their new MVs.

According to a report by Soompi, iKON will devote three weeks in March to shoot for their music videos. The site quoted a source who said that the boys are gearing to start filming the first video in mid-March. They will reportedly work for the rest of the month to get the filming under way.

There has been no concrete schedule announced yet for the comeback but it is likely that iKON's new material could be released after YG releases WINNER's album. WINNER is eyeing a mid-March or early April release.

Fans have been waiting a long time for new material to come out of the talented K-pop group. Their last release was "#WYD" way back in May 2016.

While working on their new album, iKON has been busy touring and performing locally and internationally, increasing their fanbase to other parts of Asia and the US. They recently proved their mettle against other Asian acts in the Japan Gold Disc Award.

According to a report by All K-pop, iKON took two coveted prizes at Japanese awards show. iKON won the Best New Artist Award and also bagged the prize as Best 3 New Artist in Asia, a pretty big honor given the tough competition in the music industry.

Meanwhile, a quick look at iKON's Instagram is still clear of any spoilers about the music video shoot. Most of their recent posts involve endorsement shoots for Shinsegae Duty Free, Reebok Korea, and some photos for their spread in Vogue Korea.

There are also cute photos of the boys goofing around as Jinhwan and Chanwoo decide to replace their handphones with old school and yummy banana phones. For more on your K-pop idols, check out Kpopstarz
