Cosmic Girls' Exy and Lovey paid homage to two of the biggest hits of Kpop idol groups, EXO and BTS, when they did an acoustic mashup of "LOTTO" and "Blood Sweat and Tears." The girls stripped down the production-heavy songs to come up with something with an entirely different appeal.

According to a report by All Kpop, Starship Entertainment uploaded the video on VLIVE and the video has been viewed close to 85,000 times garnering over 200,000 likes. Fans on the VLIVE chat were very impressed by Exy and Lovey's beautiful vocals and the minimal background that highlighted the difference in the performance.

According to the YouTube post uploaded by TongTong TV, the arrangement was made by songwriter BrotherSu to introduce a dreamier feel to LOTTO and Blood Sweat and Tears. While the acoustics emphasized Lovey's beautiful and sweet voice, the mashup retained its edge with Exy's rapping skills.

Youtubers praised the duo for a job well done and suggested that Starship would come out with a subgroup that has an acoustic concept to be headlined by Exy and Lovey.

This was actually not the first time that Exy and Lovey did a cover of a popular boy band hit. Last summer, it can be recalled that the girls did a cover of IKON's "My Type." The cover was well received by IKONIC, the official IKON fandom who were impressed when Exy also did some of the vocal parts of the song.

Meanwhile, Exy and Lovey are not the only members of Cosmic Girls who are getting busy right now after it was reported by Soompi that Bona has been cast in KBS2 drama titled "Greatest One Shot." Bona will play the role of Do Hye Ri, a hardworking and talented trainee of an entertainment label who is set for her upcoming debut. This will mark Bona's acting debut.
