G-Dragon Broke Another Promise To Fans, BIGBANG Leader Releasing New Album Next Week

Old habits die hard. That's what G-Dragon probably has to say after fans noticing he smokes after a recent photo of him holding a cigarette posted online.

Earlier this year, G-Dragon committed to a New Year's resolution to quit smoking. However, the BIGBANG leader was caught multiple times breaking his promise and has inevitably broken his fans' heart. Allkpop revealed that G-Dragon's fans have been sending him messages to show their concern about the singer's smoking habit. Many of them are worried about his health, although they seem aware that quit smoking is a hard thing to do for people who have been doing it for years.

A fan wrote on G-Dragon's Instagram page, urging him to take care of his health as well as encouraging him to commit to his promise. Apparently, not all people are on the same page about the matter.

Some fans don't think that anyone has the right to tell him to do things. They demanded fans who gravely concerned about G-Dragon's smoking habit to cut him loose for a little bit since he might feel a bit stressed out preparing for his new album.

Talking about the new album, G-Dragon is releasing his comeback album next week on June 8, as per Chosun Ilbo. According to YG Entertainment, G-Dragon's new album will be available to stream on major music streaming sites. Following the release of his new album, G-Dragon will embark his world tour starting in Seoul on June 10 before he continues to 19 cities in Asia, Oceania, and North America.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon's bandmate, Taeyang is set to release his new solo album afterward. On May 30, YG producer, Yang Hyun Suk hinted on his Instagram that Taeyang's solo album will be released after G-Dragon's.

This year is definitely the big break of YG Entertainment. A number of its major artists including G-Dragon, Taeyang, PSY, Sechskies, iKON, and BLACKPINK are making a comeback this year.
