Sentencing For Female Trainee Involved In BIGBANG T.O.P's Case Draws Flak From Netizens

The female trainee involved in BIGBANG T.O.P's drug case has just received her sentence and it is being met by mixed reactions from netizens. Some social media users feel like the sentence is too light while some of the rest are thinking that this will have an impact on T.O.P's case as well.

According to Soompi, the first trial for Han Seo Hee, the female trainee that was reportedly with T.O.P. when he smoked marijuana last year, was given a sentence of four years of probation. However, if she commits a repeat offense during the probation period, she will have to face a three-year prison sentence.

The trainee in T.O.P's drug charge was also ordered to attend 120 hours of drug rehabilitation and was fined a fee of 870,000 won. The Seoul Central District Court took into account the fact that Han Seo Hee purchased psychotropic drugs LSD and marijuana multiple times and used them. The trainee was also found to have purchased marijuana while she was being investigated by authorities.

However, in giving the sentence, the court took account that Han Seo Hee did not have any prior criminal record. Netizens who are commenting on the thread section seemed to be irked at the light sentence given the court's statement that the trainee purchased drugs during the course of her investigation. Meanwhile, some fans wondered whether the sentence to BIGBANG rapper T.O.P . would be similar to that of the female trainee.

BIGBANG T.O.P's first trial date is scheduled on June 29 and even now, his fans are getting busy to show T.O.P their support amid the legal challenges he is facing. Fan group T.O.P's Fools have started a global campaign for fan arts that will be used in the #WeAreHereForYou campaign for the rapper's first trial date, Kpopstarz reported.

It can be recalled that when T.O.P. was unconscious in the ICU after he took an excessive amount of anti anxiety medicine, the #StayStrongTOP hashtag easily trended online. The fandom is also coming out with a photobook which will feature fan arts and fan messages from all over the world which will be given to BIGBANG T.O.P. to encourage him.
