Fans have recently noticed that on various live stages there is one thing that Red Velvet's member Joy always has that the other members seem to be missing. When it comes to fashion statements, Joy is a lone wolf!

Joy can be seen alongside the other members sporting a double layered skirt, while everyone else wears a single layer. Fans had taken various photos (such as the ones shown above and down below) showcasing her individual style. But fans wondered "why?"

Joy is actually the tallest member of Red Velvet, coming in at 168cm which is roughly 5'6. Due to her height, she isn't able to wear a single layered skirt or else she would reveal too much.

Their stylist did, in fact, reveal that they inserted the double layers for exposure reasons. Fans found the double layered skirt to be fashionable and functional as it still adds a cute charm while serving its purpose. What do you think of Joy's distinct outfit? The new trend, I'd say!
