Hit Group B1A4 Suffer The 7 Year Curse & Disband

By Chaeil Lee | July 03, 2018 01:03 PM EDT

The sad news has been plaguing the internet and K-Pop world since B1A4's unofficial disbandment has hit the scene.

It was reported that two of the members, rapper Baro and creative lyricist Jinyoung are not renewing their contracts with WM Entertainment. The two have found success in acting and Jinyoung has particularly become a well-known songwriter and producer for other groups similar to BTS' R M. While the group's disbandment was expected earlier this year, it still comes as a shock to many. Now, the group will be inactive indefinitely until the 3 remaining members make a decision to continue on with their label or have their fates decided by the WM CEO.

With the boy group's last song from their album 'Rollin' being released back in September of 2017, the sensational group continued to promote overseas while also engaging in their personal activities. They were last seen together at a press event in Hong Kong on May 20th. The boy group debuted back in 2017 and made hit after hit with songs such as "Baby, Good Night," "Wha's Happening," "Sweet Girl" and "Solo Day."
