Naked photos of Shownu from the Korean idol group MONSTA X have leaked and are circulating the internet. Starship Entertainment quickly responded. They denied the issue and said someone manipulated the photos. 

Starship Entertainment, the agency that handles MONSTA X, gave a statement on the 3rd of November, "currently, there are illegally manipulated photos of Shownu that are being spread on various social networking sites. The man in the photo is not Shownu."

Moreover, the company will trace where the photos were leaked first and submit necessary data to the police for further investigation. They will file for civil damages under Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes and the Dissemination of Sexually Explicit Material and the Violation of Personality under the Information and Communication Network Act. 

Shownu was also accussed of immorality through an idol trainee's blog. The said trainee, Han Seo-hee, is a friend of Jung Da-eun who is also entangled with previous MONSTA X member Wonho.

Han Seo-hee posted a picture on her blog that Jung Dae-eun received a message which contains information from a man claiming that Shownu has an affair with his wife.

The agency responded again saying, "Shownu kept in contact with the woman before she was married. We are deeply sorry for any controversy surrounding our artists. As an agency, we will protect our artists at all cost and fight legally if needed."
