As the K-pop community grows bigger and wider each day, some younger fans don't even have the slightest idea about these groundbreaking instances that shocked the whole arena when these events happened.

2NE1, MAMA 2015

By December 2015, 2NE1 has not been seen together in nearly a year, and everyone was genuinely concerned that this could be the final moment for the group due to CL's increasing popularity abroad. At the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards, CL was initially supposed to appear solo. CL started performing her hit song "Hello Bitches," but the track ended abruptly, and the arena turned dark.

Suddenly, 2NE1 leaders, one by one, started going up from the ground into a crowd of thousands. Afterward, the band played "Fire" and "I Am The Best" while everyone else in the stadium went incredibly happy and felt goosebumps all over!

2NE1 had finally disbanded formally in public in 2016, but Blackjacks were quite satisfied with the ladies to have had this one last opportunity.

Girls Generation, Black Ocean

Only a year into their professional lives in 2008, Girl's Generation was expected to appear at Dream Concert, one of the most significant annual K-pop historical events in South Korea. The audience turned off their lightsticks throughout their 10-minute sequence and shouted "Wonder Girls" in what has become one of the biggest, most notorious moments in K-pop history.

The tale had a positive ending, though. In 2013, Girls' Generation returned to Dream Concert as Korea's most successful girl band. The chants were all so incredibly loud that you can hardly hear the ladies singing, and everybody in the audience was raising a pink lightstick in girls' love. It's worth the price of admission their whole show just to know how wild the crowd was for them!

G-DRAGON's Diss Rap To Mnet Asian Music Awards

G-Dragon participated at the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards and started with a vicious verse that lambasted Mnet and turned up at the ceremony. G-Dragon spat everything he wanted to express, no holds barred. He mentioned throughout his rap that almost every major band instantaneously wins an award during most of the MAMAs.

SBS Friendship Project

Numerous different entertainer groups came together in the 2013 SBS Gayo Daejun and performed a charitable song in a very unusual event. Artists such as IU, EXO, 2NE1, Girl's Generation, Apink, 4Minute, and more took part in the historic gathering.

Hyunseung and Hyuna's Kiss 2011 MAMA

In this roster, the MAMAs came up a lot. There were not many bands and artists doing more sexy and risque concepts in 2011, making Trouble Maker, HyunA and Hyunseung's collaborative track, special.

They smooched at the end of their appearance at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards, prompting the audience to burst out in surprise. This occurrence at the time prompted a massive sensation, and they subsequently repeated it at the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
