BTOB's Hyunsik penned a letter to his fans after it was announced that he is enlisting in the military.

On May 6, he and his bandmate Yook Sungjae confirmed that they would enlist on the same day in the army as active-duty soldiers. Hyunsik also took to his Instagram later that day to express his feelings with Melodys, the fandom name of BTOB.

His full letter reads:

"Hello, This is Hyunsik of BTOB." 

I'm sorry I greet you, such as this belatedly. Since I have been determined to enlist on May 11, I've been thinking about how to speak about it for a couple of days. 

Lately, I thought more about Melody and BTOB. I looked for different images and time recordings from BTOB's debut to now, smiling, remembering, and was touched by all of it. As well as what I think the most about now is that I would like BTOB and Melodys to see each other soon to recreate those good memories again. 

You all probably feel the same way, correct? Since we all think the same way, it will soon surely come to reality.

I genuinely have no doubts because Melodys has my trusted co-members and the greatest love and support in the universe. I can't really wait for the future to come through. 

I'll come back to Melody and BTOB after having grown up into a much cooler guy and one that should make you happiest.

I hope you're not all stressed and just be safe and happy when you're thinking and dreaming of the day we will see each other again. As for how Melody has always been the melody in my head, I will always be within your heart and mind.

I love you all so much, and thank you." 

After Eunkwang, Changsub, and Minhyuk, Hyunsik, and Yook Sungjae are to join the army as the fourth and fifth BTOB members. Eunkwang has previously been discharged from serving in the military, Minhyuk serves as a conscripted police officer, and Changsub is an active-duty military man.

Earlier this month, BTOB member Yook Sungjae also announced that he would be enlisting with Hyunsik on May 11. 

Their company Cube Entertainment verified in response to recent report articles, "Sungjae and Hyunsik will enlist on [May] 11. The venue and time of his military service enlistment will not be disclosed as he wants to enroll secretly."

Sungjae also released his letter to Melodys.

"Hi, this is Sungjae. Firstly, big thanks and appreciation to all the Melodies who commemorated my birthday! (I have seen all the threads, commercials, and events on social networking sites!)

Since the BTOB participants are enlisted continuously, there will eventually be a break, but also because Melodies are waiting for us, we'll gain strength in dreaming about the day we'll meet again. 

There's not much time left, but I'm certainly going to connect with Melodies through live stream, and the remaining hyungs will be out early, and 'Mystic Pop-Up Bar' will eventually be premiering, so everyone be patient and wait.

Eventually, the day will come for BTOB and Melodies to meet again!
