Former EXO member Tao, who is currently making a huge buzz after claiming a seat as one of the mentors of the Chinese Show "Produce Camp 2020," is alleged to have something for IU.
It was in April that Tao followed IU on Instagram. Then, netizens recently noticed that Tao is frequently liking her posts, and even commented on IU's SNS! The most recent one was when he greeted her a "Happy Birthday" through the female soloist's comment section on Instagram.
Although he was not the only celebrity to have left a statement on the said post, some are speculating that he might be a fan or more than that. Given IU's beauty and unparalleled singing prowess, it wouldn't be surprising if Tao idolizes her. For instance, BTS's Jungkook, HIGHLIGHT's Yoseob, and even EXO's Kai and Suho were known to be fans of the singer.

But what amazes netizens more is seeing Tao being a constant liker of IU's posts lately. This then resulted in some fans speculating that he might really like IU a lot.

Needless to say, after spotting him commenting on IU's post, the said comment gathered almost 8k hearts and hundreds of comments. A lot of the followers said he is undoubtedly a fanboy, while some claim he has something for her. However, a lot would say that he is just being friendly with the K-pop star.
IU's most recent video appearance revealed that he did not know the sensational international star Post Malone, who recently followed her on IG until her brother revealed it to her.
Although many fans see it as a sweet move coming from the former EXO, some antis also gave their side of the story. Some said that he wouldn't get the attention that he wanted from the K-pop star, and IU wouldn't care at all, too. Others say he shouldn't embarrass himself, given that it isn't known that he and IU are friends.
Still, a lot of Tao's fans would say that he has all the right to express his admiration for IU. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion or choice, whether one is a celebrity or not.
