The two artists are part of the cast for Mnet's new reality hip-hop show "Good Girl."

Jamie shared, "I was surprised when I first met Lee Young Ji because she looked like me. She has huge eyes and a warm, optimistic spirit that piles up. That stimulating, fearless persona is an important part of your music."

Lee Young Ji then said, "Jamie is very enthusiastic and vibrant. She's a gentle, strong girl."

Jamie switched her stage name from Park Jimin after quitting her long-standing company, JYP Entertainment. She explained, "I just wanted to feel like myself again. Jamie is the name I use in my everyday life, so it starts to feel very much like my name than Jimin Park."

The singer added, "The time I spent at JYP has been like my school days. I went on to graduate from there as a new hire and joined my current managing label. Now it's like I have become a real part of the community. This helps me feel like I'm about to be making music for which I can take full responsibility."

Jamie went on, "People always thought of me as a middle school girl because of my 'K-Pop Star' appearance (Jamie won during the first season of the 'K-Pop Star' show). I got piercings and tattoos, but they think it's an excessive makeover each moment anyone recognizes me."

Jamie said that she feels like people will be surprised to her in "Good Girl" the same way. Chuckling, she added, "I want people so surprised. It brings me joy."

Lee Young Ji said, "When I see 'High School Rapper 3' clips of myself, I feel so much embarrassment. I haven't gone so far as to delete the past picture of myself entirely, but I'm producing music with the mentality of leaving 'High School Rapper 3' back and beginning over again."

She explained, "I'm the type of person I dislike and lambast about. I still fail to enjoy myself quite as much as other individuals like me. I believe my ego still needs to be built. I am lacking skills, and my principles are not yet decided. I'm still very young."

When asked to describe what a "good girl" is, Jamie responded, "A good girl is somebody who wishes to make the sound and compete to get what she desires."

Lee Young Ji shared hers, "Whoever works incredibly hard at the job that is assigned to her. A woman who can say what she needs to say."

The complete series of photographs and interviews are accessible on Arena HOMME+'s June issue.
