The clarifications about BLACKPINK's Jennie's "lazy" scandal is finally revealed. On an online Korean community site, a user uploaded an explanation of why Jennie was embroiled in a ridiculous controversy, without even knowing the situation behind the idol's image on stage.
In 2018, BLACKPINK's Jennie received massive criticism from Korean netizens for her allegedly "lazy dancing on stage." According to netizens, compared to the other members who are giving their best shot, Jennie is not doing her best when the K-pop group performs on the stage.
Netizens then demand an explanation about the controversy, attacking Jennie on several social media platforms. Thus, when Jennie came to understand that there's an issue about her, the female idol apologized to fans on her birthday without giving further details, according to Allkpop.
However, there is a situation that fans and netizens should know regarding this. Based on the post author/s, they are saddened by the fact that K-netz bashed jennie without knowing that around that time, the K-pop idol got a big injury on her ankle.
The author then looked up an article about Jennie's injury, then found out that the idol was indeed rushed to the hospital after an ankle injury during "Inkigayo." Despite the pain, the K-pop idol still decided to finish the recording, by taking painkillers.

This is not the first time though that the K-pop idol got ankle injury. During her debut days (a fan clarified that it happened during their exact debut), Jennie also sprained her ankle, and hurt her ankle again during their concert tour in Japan.
Nevertheless, Jennie still continued performing even if she's only limited to sitting down while singing.
What will break your heart truly is even though it is painful, the idol still wears high heels during promotions and performances. In particular, the sudden pause and breaks that netizens hate her for are Jennie trying to endure the pain on her ankle.

On the other hand, fans are motivated to protect the idol more and support BLACKPINK's upcoming single in collaboration with pop star Selena Gomez. This upcoming August 28, SelPink (Selena x BLACKPINK) is set to dominate the charts and music market with their new single, "Ice Cream."
