SM Entertainment to Debut 2 New Members to NCT
NCT will be returning as a whole group in the second half of this year, shaking the music industry with the mega-sized project, NCT 2020. To add to the anticipation of their upcoming release, SM Entertainment has confirmed that two new members will be debuting through the project. It has been reported that they are set to join a future NCT sub-unit.
NCT 2020 is a mega-project that fully encapsulates NCT's identity and charm and will include 23 members. 21 one of the members are already promoting under the NCT umbrella through the groups NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV. All of the members of these groups will come together for NCT 2020, ensuring a variety of charms in this new release. On top of having two new members, this will be the first time WayV will be working with the other NCT sub-units.
The two new members are Shotaro and Sungchan. Shotaro is a Japanese trainee, making him the second Japanese member of the group. It is rumored that he was born in the year 2003, but it is currently unconfirmed.
For the album photo, the members are listed in order by age. As Shotaro and Sungchan are the second to last and last respectively, it is safe to assume that they are younger than the NCT's current maknae, Jisung.
No official photos of Shotaro and Sungchan have been released as of September 21.

NCT will release their full-length album, "NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 1" on October 12, 2020. There will be two versions of the album, "The Past Ver." and "The Future Ver.", which will each contain twelve songs. NCT 2020 will also release "NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 2", but no date is confirmed as of now.
Their full-length album will have a double title track, "Make a Wish" and "From Home". These songs are said to fully boast the colorful combinations of all the members, as well as blend the music colors of each NCT unit. Pre-orders for both online and offline purchase starts on September 21, 2020.
NCT has always impressed fans with their ability to communicate with fans through music as well as their powerful synergy on stage. Moving on from "EMPATHY", released in 2018 as NCT 2018, fans are highly anticipating the group to serve their unique charm and tell the story of NCT's world, empathizing with each other through a shared "dream" and becoming one through "music".

NCT is a South Korean boy group under NCT. Their name stands for "Neo Culture Technology". NCT is a group in which they have an unlimited number of members divided into multiple sub-units with various concepts. The group was first announced by SM producer and founder Lee Soo Man in 2016 and, as of September 2020, consists of 23 members. The members' age ranges from their late-teens to mid-twenties.
The first NCT unit to debut is NCT U back on April 9, 2016. NCT 127 debuted soon after on July 7, 2016. NCT Dream debuted on August 24, 2016. NCT's first overseas localized sub-unit, WayV, debuted in January 2019 and is based in China, but also promoted in South Korea.
