MONSTA X Selected as Goodwill Ambassadors for 19th International Anti-Corruption Conference

MONSTA X has been appointed as goodwill ambassadors for the 19th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC), the world's largest anti-corruption forum, and is expected to positively influence the world. The forum will be held in South Korea in December.

The International Anti-Corruption Conference is held every two years since 1983. The 19th meeting hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and Transparency International will be held as a non-face-to-face video conference due to the COVID-19.

As goodwill ambassadors, MONSTA X supports the United Nations' sustainable development goals, peace, justice, and strong institutions through the #TOGETHERBAND campaign.

MONSTA X also attended the on-tact appointment ceremony on October 23 at 2:30 p.m. KST in line with COVID-19, and will received a letter of appointment as honorary ambassadors, which broadcast live exclusively through the권익비전 YouTube channel as well.

MONSTA X debuted in 2015 with "Trespass" and has established themselves as a K-pop group that has drawn worldwide attention as each album released steadily grows step by step with a unique worldview, unique music, and powerful performance.

In particular, with the first full-length album "ALL ABOUT LUV" released earlier this year, it was ranked third among the top five K-pop artists on the U.S. Billboard's main chart Billboard 200 and ranked among the top 10 on a total of seven Billboard charts. They were the only performers in the U.S. Time 100 Tolls event to spread their popularity around the world.

MONSTA X then shared, "It was a great honor to be selected as a goodwill ambassador for the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC), which is meaningful worldwide, but it was a bit of a burden because it was a bit heavy title. But since it's a meaningful place to look at the future, I hope our members, Monbebes (MONSTA X fandom), our families, and everyone around the world will be able to face a happier and more reliable society in the future. We will work hard to promote the good meaning and meaning of IACC."

Meanwhile, MONSTA X (Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, and I.M.) is set to make a comeback on November 2 with the title "LOVE KILLA" of their third full-length album "FATAL LOVE," and will continue their various activities as ambassadors for the International Anti-Corruption Conference.
