Spotify has released its list of top K-Pop artists, albums, and tracks that received the most streams on its platform, December 3.

Defining how millions of people around the world listened to K-Pop across 2020, the music streaming service unveiled that BTS is the "most-streamed group globally," as well as the "top K-Pop artist on Spotify" for the year. The group from Big Hit Entertainment has accumulated more than 5 billion streams, with their first all-English single, "Dynamite," being 2020's "most streamed K-Pop song." The BTS single has also set a new record on the streaming service: posting 12.6 million plays in the first 24 hours after it was released. Consequently, the "most streamed K-Pop album of the year goes to BTS' "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," the group's fourth Korean-language album released February 21.

Following BTS as the second most-streamed K-Pop artist of the year is YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK, posting more than 300 million streams to date. The quartet's June track, "How You Like That," also emerges as the second most-streamed song of the year. Rounding the top five artists after BTS and BLACKPINK are TWICE, Stray Kids, and Red Velvet.

Breakout artists TREASURE, AleXa, and BIBI ranked among the hottest entries on the Spotify RADAR Korea playlists, which scans for the latest rising artists to look out for from all genres of Korean music. The Korean playlist is among RADAR's global playlists recommending the best up-and-coming music as a part of its emerging artist program.

Also included is the list for the most-streamed Korean Original Soundtrack (OST), with BTS member V's "Sweet Night" from "Itaewon Class" coming out on top. It was followed by "Stay With Me," the collab between EXO's Chanyeol and solo artist Punch, as heard on "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God." The top 3 OST on Spotify also includes the upbeat "시작 (Start Over)" by Gaho, also from "Itaewon Class."
