Recently, famous Chinese singers Zhang Bichen and Hua Chenyu (Hua Hua) confessed that they have a child. After the former K-pop idol revealed in public that she got pregnant in 2018 and gave birth to a daughter, the top Chinese artist confirmed the news, sharing his reaction.

Ex-Sunny Day's Bichen Shared Her Relationship with Chenyu, Pregnancy, and Raising Child Alone

Bichen, a former member of the K-pop group Sunny Day, posted a lengthy message on her social media account, narrating the story of how she got pregnant and became a single parent after leaving the Chinese star.

She said, "I got pregnant in fall 2018. At that time, I was in a relationship with Hua Chenyu, but he had no plans to have children and to get married."

After deciding to keep the baby, Bichen left Hua Hua without telling him a reason nor confessing that she was carrying their baby.

Instead, the singer just said, "Don't contact me anymore." Initially, the Chinese star tried to reach out to her through calls and WeChat, but when Hua couldn't find her, they eventually lost contact.

During that time, the male artist's popularity was starting to skyrocket, and Bichen was also scared to drop him the news. That was why she kept it, broke up with him, and became a single parent.

However, thinking of the right of her daughter to have a father, and the right of Hua to meet his child, Bichen visited him and introduced their daughter finally.

Hua was flustered at first, but Bichen shared how she saw the warmth and joy from his eyes. Hua, later on, apologized for not being able to be with her during pregnancy and suggested that they should give her a perfect family register. "That's how I put him on my family register."

Despite breaking up, the two decided to re-adjust their relationship and to co-parent their daughter.

Lastly, Bichen apologized to fans for hiding it, and that her reason was to protect her precious one from malicious comments.

To reciprocate the post, Hua also shared a lengthy message on his SNS where he confirmed he does have a child with his former sweetheart.

"That's right. We have a child. This child healed me a lot. I'm so happy that the sky gave me such a special gift. It's sudden, but I'm really happy. The reason why I haven't revealed it is because it's complicated," he wrote.

"Also, I thought fans would be worried if I said it uncertainly, and I wanted to make the child grow in a stable environment. Fans will feel this all of a sudden. I just hope you understand. Thank you," he added.

Internet users lauded Zhang for not giving up their daughter, and also Hua for openly, happily accepting their child and his responsibility as a father.

What Will Happen to Bichen and Hua Hua Now?

Zhang Bichen, born in 1984 in China, was a former active K-pop idol and member of Sunny Day in 2013. After a year, she withdrew from the group and flew to China.

Hua Chenyu, or also known as Hua Hua, is a 90-liner singer in China. The two met at a Chinese music variety show, "Be the Idol," and though there was a rumor that they were dating, both didn't confirm it officially.

Meanwhile, some netizens suggest they get married immediately for their one-year-old daughter. However, Hua's studio stated that that they will not get married but will raise the child together.
