GOT7 Jinyoung is now officially an artist under BH Entertainment!

On Thursday, Jan. 28, BH Entertainment revealed through a press release that GOT7 member and actor Jinyoung had signed an exclusive contract with them. A source from the company said, "We will provide Jinyoung both material and emotional support through our systematic management so that he can continue his journey as a singer as well as an actor.

BH Entertainment is recognized as a popular acting agency that is currently home to numerous representative Korean actors and actresses in web dramas and films. These include Lee Jin Wook, Park Bo Young, Ahn So Hee, Han Ga In, Lee Byung Hyun, Park Hae Soo, Lee Ji Ah, and many more.

GOT7 Jinyoung's New Beginnings

Park Jinyoung has been active as a member of the world-renowned boy group, GOT7, in the past seven years, since the release of their debut extended play titled "Got It?" in January 2014. But apart from his singing career, he has also established himself as a famous actor.

In 2011, Park was chosen as one of the cast members for the television drama "Dream High 2," along with his fellow trainee JB. This marked his debut as an actor - this means he made his acting debut first before he became an idol. The drama started airing in January 2012, and just four months after, he and JB debuted as a duo called JJ Project with the single album, "Bounce."

Jinyoung went on to appear in another drama, titled "When a Man Falls in Love," which was broadcast in 2013. Then on Jan. 16 of the following year, he made his debut as one of the vocalists of JYP Entertainment's seven-piece boy band, GOT7. The group's debut EP "Got It?" was officially launched four days later. It is said that Park was the one who created the choreography for "Follow Me," which is part of their EP.

GOT7 Jinyoung's Acting Roles

In addition to his first two acting projects, Jinyoung continuously received and accepted numerous offers to appear in dramas. In 2015, he played a supporting role in JTBC's drama, "This Is My Love," which aired from May to July. The next year, he was cast as one of the main characters in an independent film titled "A Stray Goat." In the movie, he acted a high school student who relocates in the town of Goseong where he meets a girl, who is an outcast because of the suspicions and rumors regarding her father.

In September 2016, GOT7 Jinyoung again accepted a supporting role in the drama, "Legend of the Blue Sea," in which he played the teenage version of Lee Minho's character, the male lead of the show. Then in December 2018, he had his first lead role in "He is Psychometric," a romantic comedy-drama.

Last year, while Park Jinyoung carried out his activities as a GOT7 member, he was also busy acting. He starred in tvN's "When My Love Blooms" together with Yoo Ji Tae, Jeon So Nee, and Lee Bo Young. He was then cast in another movie, "The Angel Without, The Devil Within, after four years. Lastly, he was confirmed to play the male lead in an upcoming drama titled "The Devil Judge."

Best of luck to GOT7 Jinyoung in his new journey under BH Entertainment!
