K-Pop stars continue to make waves in the international arena. As a matter of fact, more and more South Korean acts have entered various music charts and dominated rankings in the past year. Aside from their exemplary music, these artists are also admired for displaying stunning visuals.

MONSTA X Shownu and HyunA Proclaimed as Hottest Male and Female K-Pop Bods of 2021

On Friday, Feb. 12, Sports Seoul revealed the winners of the Hottest Male and Female Bodies in 2021. MONSTA X member Shownu took the highest spot In the male category after getting most of the votes. The "Love Killa" hitmaker got a whopping 45 votes.

Coming in second place is MONSTA X member I.M, who just revealed the official tracklist of his upcoming solo mini-album called "Duality." The South Korean star got a total of 14 votes. Rain and EXO member Kai then followed on the third and fourth spots with 12 votes and 9 votes, respectively.

As for the female category, HyunA reigned supreme after getting the highest votes this year. Numerous fans have praised the "Lip & Hip" hitmaker because of how she maintains a toned figure, which she showed off while promoting her "I'm Not Cool" track.

Following in second place is Red Velvet member Seulgi, who is known for having a toned body as well. Taking the third spot is (G)I-DLE member Soojin. Soyu, Jessi, and Sunmi, on the other hand, all tied on the fourth spot after getting the same number of votes.

ASTRO Cha Eun Woo and April Naeun Announced as Most Handsome and Beautiful Idols of 2021

Meanwhile, Sports Seoul also conducted a survey on the most handsome and most beautiful idols of 2021. For the Most Handsome category, ASTRO member Chae Eun Woo was proclaimed the winner after getting a total of 18 votes. This is the third time that the South Korean heartthrob dominated the ranking as he also won in 2020 and 2019.

Coming in second place is SEVENTEEN member Junghan after garnering a total of 12 votes. BTS member V, on the other hand, nabbed third place while NCT members Lucas and Jaehyun tied in the fourth spot. Taeyong, which is also part of NCT, secured the fifth spot.

April member Naeun was proclaimed the Most Beautiful K-Pop Idol of 2021 after garnering 9 votes. Following the "Muah!" singer is Red Velvet member Irene in second place with six votes. Suzy Bae, (G)I-DLE member Miyeon and IZ*ONE member Kim Min Ju, on the other hand, tied in the third spot after they got the same number of votes.

More than 20 K-Pop idol groups anonymously participated in the Lunar New Year Special K-Pop artist survey, namely: TREASURE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, CRAVITY, Changmo, LOONA, Oh My Girl, ENHYPEN, IZ*ONE, Secret Number, Stray Kids, STAYC, SEVENTEEN, BTOB, MONSTA X, MAMAMOO, The Boyz, NU'EST, Kang Daniel, NCT 127, ITZY and (G)I-DLE.
