In light of the many bullying controversies happening across the Korean entertainment industry, KARD BM and Ladies' Code Ashley opened up about their own experience as the victim of school bullying in the latest GET REAL podcast episode.

KARB BM Talks about His School Bullying Experiences

When BTOB Peniel asked if the podcast team have ever been bullied, Ladies' Code Ashley and KARD BM admitted they had. Jamie then made a follow-up question asking what the reason was.

The first one to open up was KARD BM. The male idol said that the bullying he faced resulted from his weight. He explained, "I think for the most part is because I used to be really like a heavyweight. I used to be a little bit obese."

The KARD member went on to share what his fellow students do to him. He said that they would approach him and often swipe at his breast tissue - an act he pertained to as "titty scooping." While he said it's not a big deal between friends, he didn't like it when bullies do that to him. However, according to him, he wouldn't want to fight with them because they might hurt him.

So instead of fighting back, KARD BM said that he would just laugh it off whenever the bullies do it. Apart from that, the singer also talked about another school bullying incident. BM shared that there was this student in his junior high school who sat behind him and would stick lead pencils into his back. Once again, he just responded lightly, but then he got tired of being treated that way.

And so, for a couple of days, KARD BM thought about whether he would tackle the problem with the bully. Until one day, he has gathered all the courage he needs to face the student.

However, on the day he planned to deal with him, he found out that the bully got expelled for hitting another male student. The punch was "so hard that his tooth came out of his skin."

After learning what happened, BM was glad he was unable to fight him after all. The KARD member then concluded, "Violence is not the answer."

Ladies' Code Ashely Reveals She Experienced School Bullying in the United States

Meanwhile, in the case of Ladies' Code Ashely, she confessed that she was bullied when she first moved to the United States. She then explained, "Since my parents were working really late I had to go to after school like Hagwon after school." She further stated that there were two students who were around four years older than her and would talk rude things in front of her face thinking that she couldn't understand English, but actually she can.

Ashley Choi also shared that those kids would steal her pencil case, pinch her, and gave her Indian burn. But like KARD BM, the Ladies' Code member revealed that she would also just laugh it off.

BM then commented, "That's what usually the victim of bullying does. You don't have the courage to be like, 'stop.'"
