MOMOLAND Jane Deletes All But Two Photos on Her Instagram
On Mar. 11, fans noticed that Jane had deleted all but two photos off her Instagram account. What was once filled with photos of her, her daily life, and her fellow MOMOLAND members now only contains one headshot of the idol, as well as a photo of her on a scooter.
The deletion of posts caused worry among fans. Many had no idea what spurred Jane to delete all of her posts, with others expressing worry over the female idol's well-being and mental state.
However, due to the timing of the sudden deletion, many believe it has something to do with Yeonwoo's cryptic Instagram post a few days prior.
What did Former MOMOLAND Member Yeonwoo Post?
On Mar. 3, Yeonwoo shared an excerpt from the novel "The Far Sea" to her Instagram account. The excerpt reads, "I hated you, and I really resented you. I have come to that age where I am no longer afraid of death. To the person that I love, I can say 'I love you,' and to the person that I hate, I can say 'The weather is so cold,' and leave it at that... As I live, I realize that I do not need anything else than these two phrases."
As the excerpt talks about love, hate, and death, many felt worried for Yeonwoo. People connected this post to her old fan cafe post.
Back in Jul. 2020, Yeonwoo shared a letter to her fancafe, talking about how she is pursuing a different job (acting) not because she wanted to, but because she had to if she wanted to live and meet with her fans. She also mentioned that many people leave comments on her live streams that are hard to deal with and that she has endured a lot and suppressed how she feels.
Yeonwoo stated she did not betray anyone for pursuing a different career and talked about the pain of being judged by the people she loves.
Du to her posts, people had started to speculate that she was kicked out of the group rather than voluntarily leaving MOMOLAND.
Why Would MOMOLAND's Jane Deleting Her Posts Because of Yeonwoo?
Back in 2019, Jane and the other MOMOLAND members were accused of bullying Yeonwoo out of MOMOLAND. An unnamed netizen claims that Yeonwoo and the other members of MOMOLAND were seen at a hospital, with the group yelling and saying hurtful things to Yeonwoo.
At the time, MOMOLAND also uploaded a photo showing six members of the group before the official announcement of MLD Entertainment, further sparking bullying rumors.
With the timing of Yeonwoo's post and Jane suddenly deleting her Instagram posts, people are creating numerous rumors concerning MOMOLAND and how they treated Yeonwoo. As of press time, MLD Entertainment has not released a statement on the matter.
