WM Entertainment Announces OH MY GIRL Arin Return as Idol-actress with Horror Series, "Goedam 2"
On March 17, Oh My Girl's Arin agency WM Entertainment shared the news that their female artist Arin has been cast for the second season of the Netflix series, "Goedam."
In particular, "Goedam 2," or also known as "Urban Ghost Story 2," is a sequel to an anthology series with the same name released in 2020. The first series with eight episodes aired in August last year, showcasing various urban legends in each episode. "Goedam" Season 1 was completed with K-pop idol Cosmic Girls Seola.
Meanwhile, as this is OH MY GIRL's Arin return after showing her acting potential as Oh Na Ri in web drama, "The World of My 17," expectations are high on what charm she will show through her small screen debut.
Arin, who made her debut as a member of OH MY GIRL in April 2015, has been loved by music fans as she has topped the music charts one after another over the past six years with "Secret Garden," "Remember Me," and "The Fifth Season."

On the other hand, it was also reported shortly after that several popular idols would also join OH MY GIRL's Arin.
According to JoyNews24's report on the same day, BTOB Lee Minhyuk, MONSTA X Shownu, Lovelyz Seo Jisoo, Cosmic Girls Seola, Exy, and Lee Ho Won, as well as THE BOYZ Ju Haknyeon, and Golden Child Jaehyun will appear in the horror series, too.
"Goedam" that depicted in an episode format centered on ghost stories that take place in the city. After its first season, it became popular by forming a Korean-style horror maniac.
Director Hong Wonki will take the megaphone for "Goedam 2," and the production will be carried out by Megabox Central and Johnny Bros.
Expectations are already high for K-pop idols-actors who are gaining popularity around the world, not only in the music scene but as well as in the field of acting.
