I.M VLOG Features 'God Damn' MV Behind-the-Scenes
MONSTA X member I.M takes fans on his first-hand experiences behind the scene of the 'God Damn' music video.
For the MonChannel vlog's 221st episode, it was I.M's turn to bond with their fans, the MONBEBE. Starting with the Day 1 of the so-called 3D shooting, the MONSTA X rapper talks to the audience wearing a face mask and showing a storyboard, explaining what will go down.
After explaining that the director asked him to take his shirt off, he is shown in an enclosure where images of his topless form are taken from multiple angles.
The following day of the vlog, outfit fitting, saw I.M try out different clothes to be used for the MV. Additionally, he also gave a glimpse of his diet, checking the nutritional facts for even the drinks he takes. His chiseled body - the result of constant diet and exercise - seems to fit well, from simple and chic to something more mature. He also shared that his birthday fell on the same day as his MV outfit fitting session, adding that he bought himself a bag as a gift.
Even after his fitting, I.M continues to discuss how the outfits will be in relation to the music video concept of "God Damn." After their talks, he extended his gratitude to the staff who helped him in this part of the MV preparations.
For the third day, the MONSTA X went to a tattoo artist. When asked why he's getting a henna tattoo, he explains that he wants "to make a more appropriate mood for the MV." I.M explains that while he was thinking of a better image for "God Damn," he thought tattoos would be a good addition.
While he is being prepared for the tattoo, he was asked about using a sugar cup - a prop that resembles an actual glass - and whether he can break it. The vlog shows a take of the MV showing him breaking the sugar cup in one try. He then shows his various tattoos on his chest as well as on both of his arms.
The fourth is the big day - the MV shoot - and while visibly tired, the MONSTA X member tries his best to chat with MONBEBE and he still remains enthusiastic about his project. Playing games with his fans, he cheerfully shares that after the MV shoot, he will binge eat. He then inserts short sequences of him shooting scenes for the MV, sharing his insights and experiences in between making funny faces and sweet messages for the MONBEBE.
He also recalled the time his fellow MONSTA X members visited him on set before once again expressing his gratitude to everyone who worked hard on making the "God Damn" MV possible.
