SM Entertainment Confirms OT7 Comeback with Mark Following Elimination of Graduation System

7Dream is finally back! As there will be no graduation system anymore, Mark will join NCT dream for an April comeback.

On March 23, SM Entertainment officially announced that NCT's sub-unit, NCT Dream, will be returning to the music scene this April. An official said, "NCT DREAM is preparing a new album with the aim of releasing it in April."

In particular, Mark, an early member of NCT Dream, will rejoin this activity. Mark had previously graduated from NCT Dream based on the graduation system from the team at the age of 20. However, as the group received massive popularity and support from K-pop enthusiasts, SM Entertainment re-organized the group and made it a fixed unit, announced in 2020.

From their initial "youth" concept, the septet will transform with a flexible-style and more mature music as the members became adults.

This will be the official comeback of NCT Dream with member Mark following "We Go Up," and after joining the group in a special track"Deja Vu" for NCT2020 comeback. In addition, this will mark NCT Dream's return in the music scene about a year after "Reload," which was released in April last year.

NCT Dream Gains Anticipation as one of Leading Third-Gen Groups

With their previous comebacks, NCT DREAM emerged as one of the top third-generation K-pop groups based on their records and achievements.

The six-member group (hereinafter seven-member group with Mark) topped the domestic and international music charts and music programs with its "Reload" album released in April last year.

Music fans at home and abroad are also looking forward to the comeback as it has achieved good results, including No. 1 in 51 regions around the world, No. 1 in United World Chart, No. 1 in China QQ Music Korea Music Video Chart, and No. 1 in Singapore KKBOX Singles Chart.

In addition, NCT DREAM proved its global popularity for the first time as an Asian singer to be named for three consecutive years in "21 Under 21" by Billboard in the U.S. last year.

Meanwhile, after debuting in August 2016, NCT Dream has been loved by many fans for its refreshing and fresh music, releasing "Chewing Gum," "My First and Last," "We Young," "We Go Up," "Boom," and "Ridin."

NCT Dream to Join Lazada's "Super Party" Online Concert Along with Katy Perry

Lazada, a representative e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia, will hold an online concert to mark its 9th anniversary.

The group NCT DREAM and pop singer Katy Perry was announced as some of the prominent stars who will join the amazing lineup for the "Lazada Super Party" online concert to be held on March 26.

The theme of this concert is "Everyday Heroes," which is designed to express gratitude to those who have a positive influence in their daily lives, including the medical staff at the front line of the coronavirus. The online concert will be broadcasted in local broadcasting channels and SNS platforms for consumers in six Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
