BTS's V Doesn't Like Taking Selfies Because He Dislikes His Face

On April 5 KST, BTS members Suga, J-Hope and V held a live broadcast on their official Naver V-Live.

During the broadcast, the members interacted with fans on their broadcast titled, "Tea Time With ARMY," in which the three BTS members asked fans on what drink they should make. After receiving a hefty list of options, V decided to make yucha ade (citrus ade), while Suga makes Jolly Pong latte (or Pong Crush) and J-Hope with mint choco latte.

While making the drinks, the BTS members talked with fans and answered some of their questions.

When the "Daydream" singer, J-Hope, read the live chat, he saw a comment from a fan asking for V to take a selfie. However, V confessed that it had been more than six months since he last took a selfie.

Whenever the "Stigma" singer would take a picture, it would be because Big Hit asked him to. He adds that he can't take selfies by himself.

Suga then reasonsed that V used to take a lot of selfies in the past, to which V explained that he used to be a "master of selfies." But the reason he doesn't like taking a selfie now is because he doesn't like how he looks, V revealed.

In response to V's unexpected confession, J-Hope did not believe it. "That's ridiculous" said J-Hope, to which V just laughed humbly.

BTS's V Named as the "Most Handsome Man in the World"

While V seems to dislike his face, the rest of the world love it!

BTS's V had been named the "Most Handsome Man in the World" multiple times from various sites.

In 2017, V was ranked no.1 in TC Candler's "The 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2017." The following years after, he was always within the top 5 spots. His most recent rank in the TC Candler category is no.2 in 2020.

In 2018, TheBestPoll revealed the results of their "The Most Handsome Man in the World" poll, which had 150 candidates from all over the world. V topped the poll by garnering 27.9 percent of the votes.

Additionally, he also topped the charts in Famous Star Magazine's "Most Handsome Men" in 2018.

Youtube channel "Top10 World" also held their own "Top 10 Most Handsome Men in the World" in 2020, with V inlcuded among stars such as Zayn Malik, Robert Pattinson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Cruise and more.

With BTS continuously garnering more popularity globally, so is V's!
