Dara, who rose to popularity in the Philippines both as an actress and a singer, just met Byul Sarang, referred to as the "Second Sandara Park."

On the recent broadcast of MBC Every1 "Video Star," "Miss Trot 2" finalists including Yang Jieun, Hong Jiyoon, Kim Taeyeon, Kim Euiyoung, Byul Sarang, and Eun Gaeun, graced the show with their outstanding voices and life stories prior to their popularity as trot aspiring singers.

In the broadcast then, Singer Byul Sarang and MC Sandara Park, a former member of K-pop icon 2NE1, connect with each other as they recalled popularity during their days in the Philippines.

Byul Sarang is the "Second Sandara Park" of the Philippines? Here's Why

In the broadcast, MC Kim Sook
drew attention by mentioning that Byul Sarang is the "second Sandara Park," and the OG Sandara Park also expressed curiosity.

Byul Sarang then narrated, "I made my debut in the Philippines first. I was the vocalist of a performance band called "J-Morning," and every time I went around, people said, "A second Sandara Park" appeared. I had my hair tied up at that time, so I am honored to receive such modifier."

Though the two singers didn't have overlapping popularity in the country, both agreed to the warm support and love that they received from the locals in the Philippines.

Kim Sook, who came to the Philippines as well along with Sandara, proved the warm welcome of Filipinos to her, describing the experience of being just like the whole nation's guest.

In response, Byul Sarang also certified the local response to her and their band, adding,"All the residents came out of Mindoro Island, so I had a car parade for three hours."

Sandara then, who feels like how it was to be in the Philippines, responded, "That's why it's so exciting," and the J-Morning vocalist agreed and laughed, saying, "You don't have to wear makeup."

Byul Sarang, on the other hand, asked the MCs to leave a video letter to their fans in Filipino, said, "I can't speak Tagalog. No matter how I listen to Tagalog and English, I couldn't get used to it, so we had an interpreter instead."

In particular, J-Morning is a pop cover band that gained decent popularity in South Korea. However, their fame skyrocketed after joining the show, "I Love OPM (Original Pinoy Music)," wherein they shock viewers with their own pop rendition of prominent Filipino songs.

Just like Sandara Park, the now K-pop icon also establish her career in the Philippines after joining "Star Circle Quest."

2NE1 is Having a Reunion Comeback? CL's Side Denied Claims

Previously, several reports about the 2NE1 reunion comeback after Park Bom allegedly slipped her tongue about recording a song with the members.

After parting ways in 2016, the fandom of the quartet remains solid, that's why several fans are actually holding on to the apparently hints from 2NE1 members, including Minzy and Sandara.

However, an official from CL's agency debunked the recording rumors and said, "It is not true that 2NE1 recorded the song as a whole. It's not a reunion. But CL is currently working on a solo album."

Unfortunately, the hopes of fans shattered for now, but the members are consistently boasting their unwavering friendship by posting photos of 2NE1, including CL, Sandara Park, Bom, and Minzy, which means that though there's still no official set date or announcement, a possible reunion in the future with a release is not far-fetched.
