BTS RM Workout Routine 2021: Here's How 'MIC Drop' Singer Achieved His Impressive Physique

Kim Nam Joon, commonly referred to as RM, is the leader of the world-famous K-pop group BTS who always prioritizes his fellow members. Over the years, he has captured everyone's hearts with his songs. Apart from his superb rapping skills, his outstanding physique is also drawing attention.

So, how did BTS member RM attain his current bulked-up physique? Does he perform any workout routine and reduce his food intake? Keep on reading to know more about this humble and generous leader of the boy band.

BTS RM Workout Routine Revealed

RM started going on a diet and working out when he was still a trainee as he was very chubby at that time. However, the "Dynamite" rapper was unable to work out for several years because he had injured his shoulder during one of their gym sessions. Hence, he lost a lot of weight during the "DNA" promotion in 2017.

BTS RM only gained weight and dramatically changed his physique in 2018. From being slim and slender, the singer managed to get buffed with noticeable muscles and broad shoulders. He now looks good in any style he wears without putting in any effort.

Like any K-pop idol, Kim Nam Joon also has to go through serious rehearsals to perfect his dancing and give the audience an incredible performance. This dancing routine, which is part of the idol's everyday life, has become one of the main factors that have helped him maintain his excellent physique and always be flexible and lean.

BTS member RM would practice for at least two or three hours depending on BTS's schedule. With all of that dancing, the "Dynamite" hitmaker burns a high amount of calories. In addition to dancing, BTS RM also works out four or five times a week, according to him. And the main reason for this is he wanted to improve his dancing skills. And of course, as he continues to do exercises, he eventually gets his body in shape and symmetry.

Kim Nam Joon even does straightforward bodyweight exercises before performing on shows and when they have tours. He does three sets of push-ups, punches, mountain climber, squats, lunges, crunches, leg raises, and plank.

In a V Live broadcast earlier this year, BTS member RM emphasized the importance of Pilates, which will help enhance your posture. Not to mention, he usually prefers Pilates than going to the gym. When it comes to eating, RM and his fellow BTS members don't have a specific diet plan. Like ordinary people, they consume three meals a day and usually like to eat some snacks.

BTS RM to Release a Collaboration Song with eAeon

Meanwhile, BTS member RM is set to drop a collaboration track with Indie singer Lee Eon, also called eAeon. Reports state that eAeon has teamed up with RM for a song that will be included in his second album, due out on April 30.

It was reported that BTS RM has been featured in a song titled "Don't Do It." Additionally, it is said that the "Boy With Luv" rapper co-wrote the track together with eAeon.
